Unlike some other reviews I’ve seen about this product, what I received is very durable. The Single Shot Strip Caps 208 Refill from Parris Toys (blue colored) fits tight on these cartridges. The cartridges fit very well in my Denix replica pistol.
A little small for the Western Revolver I have, put works just fine. The caps are a little hard to get used to putting on, but after a few times it’s not that difficult. If your looking for caps to make a realistic sound, these are not for that, you should purchase a blank gun. These dummy shells gives you that feel of what it might have been like to load an old western revolver back in the day. The Caps & the smell do take me back when I was a kid & reminds me of what it was like back in the day. Overall I think these are a great addition to Non- Firing replicas. Shipping was fast took about 5 days by ground from Atalanta to California, not bad at all
Deceptively small in size for the .45 single action bullets. They look like they should be used in a 9 mm. Minus the fact that it took over 2 months to come in. These work quite well in the single .45's. I found it best to put the dummy shells in the gun first then add the cap. I do have to say you may need to use a set of tweezers when placing the caps on the end of the Dummy shells. The sound and smell of the caps going off bring back a lot of memories. You will not be disappointed.
